Faux - Inhale LP
Since the release of their debut EP ‘Patterns’ last year, things have been getting bigger and better for Southampton (UK) dirty-pop quartet Faux. Having played to over 14,000 people in their hometown, racking up over 12,000 views on their video for single ‘Swimmingly’, supporting the likes of Black Peaks and Turnover AND beating off competition to perform at Rob Da Bank’s Festival Common People, you could say that Faux are making all the right marks on the music scene.
With the release of their sophomore EP ‘Inhale’ this summer, it looks like Faux are going to enjoy another hugely successful year as a band – make sure you’re a part of it.
Inhale is all about exploring boundaries. The lyrical content reflects the effects friendships / relationships have on you when in a situation where you feel you have no control over their actions and in turn how it makes you feel.
The instrumentation is us blending two genres of indie and emo. We love a big sing along chorus and clean twiddly guitars so felt pushing the two together in this way was very natural.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Neil Kennedy at The Ranch Production House, Southampton.
